The Moree Plant
The Plant is the only approved oilseed processing facility in the Moree district and one of only eight in Australia of a commercial scale.
Moree is a prime location for an oilseed production facility being centrally positioned to the oil seed growing regions of both Queensland and NSW and on a major transport hub to the ports of Brisbane, Newcastle and Sydney.
The plant is Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) licensed to process 100,000 tonnes per year.
The facility is constructed on a 6.348 hectare approved industrial site with all essential services provided including high voltage electricity, gas supply, water supply, road train access and access to rail transport.
Infrastructure on the site includes modern office complex, refining sheds, workshop, seed/meal storage sheds, 2 million litre tank farm and trade licensed B-double weighbridge. There is substantial room for the expansion of the plant’s production facilities on the existing 6.3 hectare site.
